2-flutes drill slot milling cutters HARDAL are manufactured from a new type of cutting material called Hardal-Supra.
In combination with a newly developed coating, these bore slot milling cutters are a real alternative to HSS and solid carbide tools. The special alloy achieves a hardness of up to 70HRc, which guarantees an extremely high edge stability. This is significantly higher than with conventional cobalt-alloyed HSS steels. The TIALN-based coating also ensures sufficient heat and oxidation resistance. Thanks to these technical innovations, you can mill your workpieces dry with our Hardal tools if required.
