The lathe chuck guard for lathes of the type PTO 10 has a protective hood that can be rotated through 180°. The guards are mounted on the support/bed slide so that they can move with the support/bed slide. The impact-resistant, transparent protective screen is made of a very high quality, special plastic that is resistant to hot chips, oil and coolant. Furthermore, the protective devices are equipped with a special safety microswitch.
